Anti-Wrinkle Injections

We can relax the underlying muscles of the face with medication injected directly into the muscles. When muscles relax, the skin covering those muscles can begin to smooth out. Treatment is temporary and needs to be repeated every 3-6 months depending on your goals and needs.

Dermal Fillers

With age, collagen production decreases and the skin begins to sag. Dermal fillers can help plump up the appearance of cheekbones, lips, tear troughs and fine lines or wrinkles.

As with anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers are temporary and will need to be repeated every one to two years.

Derma Needling Treatments

Derma needling, also called micro needling or vampire facials, uses a derma roller filled that contains tiny needles to puncture the skin. While this can sound a little scary, we ensure that the skin is numb and that proper sterilisation is used to prevent infection.

The purpose of derma needling is to boost the skin’s natural ability to produce collagen. Like laser treatments and resurfacing, micro-damage stimulates the skin to repair itself, boosting collagen production that naturally slows down with age, causing the skin to appear thinner and more papery.

The Derma Needling Process

After cleaning the skin and applying a topical anaesthetic, we use a sterilised roller to gently puncture the skin. We then apply either platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or hyaluronic acid, both of which naturally occur within the body, to the punctured skin surface to boost repair and promote even, uniform skin tone and texture.

It can be used on the face, neck, shoulders, chest and back with the intent to improve the following conditions:

• Acne scars
• Hyper-pigmentation
• Discolouration
• Uneven skin tone
• Loss of elasticity
• Stretch marks
• Ageing wrinkles and lines

The process can be repeated every 4-6 weeks until the desired results are achieved. Then, touch-up treatments can help maintain results in the long-term.

What about Downtime?

Derma needling has minimal recovery times for most patients and will generally experience slight redness for 24-48 hours after treatment.

Thread Lifting AKA the Hollywood Lift

Achieve results without surgery using biocompatible threads to lift the skin. Secured by sutures, thread lifting also improves collagen production by stimulating the body’s response to controlled trauma.
